The Nakajima Saiun was designed in 1942 as a long-range reconnaissance aircraft. The Saiun (US code named Myrt) was first used in combat in 1943 and served Imperial Japanese forces through-out the Pacific. The Saiun was adapted for use as an interceptor and night fighter in the closing stages of WWII and had the distinction of being the last Japanese aircraft shot down in WWII. Scale: 1/144
